What is Lifelink?
Lifelink is a 24-hour telecare alarm service providing you with the ability to call for help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In times of emergency, help is just the push of a button away. You can call from anywhere in your home, even in your garden.
We know that as loved ones get older or if they experience health problems this can be a real worry for family, friends and carers. Lifelink ensures help is with you when you need it, whilst still being able to carry on with daily lives.
We offer tailored services depending on your needs and the service is also available with a 24 hour responder service option. Our first responders are fully insured and trained in First Aid and Manual handling. They use vehicles fully equipped with first aid equipment and lifting apparatus to ensure we can assist you in any situation.
How Does It Work?
When you need help, simply press the alarm button on the pendant or on the alarm unit, and you will be connected to one of our highly skilled operators in our Control Centre.
They will be able to speak to you over the loudspeaker and hear you via the built in microphone. Just tell them what sort of help you need and the operator will asses your situation and arrange the appropriate help to respond such as your family or friends, the emergency services or your doctor, or one of our first responders.
If you are hard of hearing or unable to speak to us when you place a call, there is no need to worry as we will always get help to you even if we have not been able to speak with you.
Our alarm systems are connected through phone lines and we install the alarm systems for free.
We supply users with a pendant that can be worn around the neck or wrist and there is also a range of telecare sensors that you can opt for, all of which connect to the Lifelink alarm unit to assist you around the home.

Laura joined the Lifelink team following previous experience as a Therapy Support Worker for five years with the NHS and working in a dementia care home. Outside of work she is an Explorer Scout Leader and a dog agility trainer. Laura has also volunteered for the British Red Cross Fire Emergency Support Service.

Lorna previously worked in Cheltenham Hospital for 3 years in the Day Surgery Unit and also has several year’s experience in the security industry mainly based around Alarm Programming and Access working for G4S and Virgin Media.

Kate joined the Lifelink team following a 12 year background in the local Constabulary. Previous to this she has a vast range of knowledge gained through customer service roles, where people first are her main priority. In her spare time she loves exploring the great outdoors, taking part in adventure activities, and going on long walks with her 2 dogs.

Pauline came to the Lifelink Team with 10 years healthcare experience having worked as a Disability Assessor and within the Ambulance Service. Pauline is passionate about ensuring people’s decisions about their treatment and care are respected and supported. Outside of work Pauline enjoys Photography, and Genealogy Research.
